Last July, Aireshelta plc was asked by Warwickshire Police to provide additional Aireshelta cover which complimented their own trio of Aireshelta Units being used for “Operation Utah”.
At least 14 Airesheltas were used throughout the operation: their main use primarily was to provide total cover and privacy in order to interview motorists and to search vehicles.
The location was a motorway services on the M6. This was a multi-agency operation that involved several Police Forces. Aireshelta plc was delighted to assist in the all important “Operation Utah” . The Aireshelta staff were commended for their contribution towards its success.
The whole operation was filmed and appeared in an episode of BBC’s Cops, Cars & Cameras screened on Monday 15 February 2010.
